2012

Well, here we are at 2012. I have so may art ideas swimming in my head I cannot seem to focus on any one. My latest idea I have been working on is new to me. It is Encaustic painting, I am at the research stage right now. I do have a few supplies but plan on going this week to finda hood fan to help with the fumes. I also would like to do some collaging, I have talked about this for a while and have been collecting lots of bits and baubles for this, but can seem to get anything down on canvas. I would love to find some local workshops on either or both of these. If anyone has any suggestions please post on my blog.

I also this year plan on doing a few more art shows and would like to get a few more followers on my blog. If you like my blog please pass it on to your friends and fellow artists. Well, i'm off to the studio to get something done... I hope.

TOO LONG !

Wow it has been way too long since I have posted on my blog. I have not been as creative lately has I would like to be , but hopefully will get back in the groove real soon. Between my job at the hospital and moving , all my spare time, has not focused on the creative side of my life. Looking forward to some winter shows coming up....BUT I need to get some new things done for them. I have been working on "barn quilts" which has taken up a good bit of my time and also my garage space. I am also interested in doing an "art retreat" this next year. Would love to hear from anyone who has done one. I was looking at the Art and Soul retreats. I also am ready to get inspired knitting again. Also have some ideas for some jewelry!! SO many ideas and too little time. Let me hear from anyone about art retreats , till next time.....
